We’re Back! Meeting in November
Meetings Resume
As a result of the vaccination rollout and reduced restrictions, we are now able to hold our next meeting, which will take place this coming Tuesday (9th of November) at the normal time. There will be a potting demonstration and discussion of the last year, since the main flowering season is drawing to a close and it’s the time of year to repot or divide plants.
We are required to follow the COVID Safe rules stated by the government and Monash Halls (from whom we hire the hall). This includes us nominating a COVID Marshall for each event at a Monash Facility, who is required to manage sign-ins and vaccination status checks. Please read and follow these rules carefully, as non-compliance may result in the club facing hefty fines that we cannot afford.
All persons over 16 years of age must provide proof of full vaccination status or an authorised exemption notice from a Medical Practitioner to the COVID Marshall to view (either digital or hard copy).
Children under 16 are not required to be vaccinated but must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult or an adult with an authorised exemption notice from a Medical Practitioner.
All persons entering a Monash Facility must sign in using the facility QR code or COVID Attendance Register in sight of the COVID Marshall.
Hand sanitiser must be available.
Attendance is capped at 4m² per person per space with a maximum of 150 people per facility.
All persons over 16 years of age entering a Monash Facility must wear a mask indoors at all times. Masks may be removed only while undertaking physical activity.
Individuals should adhere to social distancing requirements.
